FIXED! (sort of)

As I wrote last week, the nib of my Lamy 2000 met a hard object with some speed bending the tines out of alignment.

Well, after some gentle bending of the tines I was unable to totally resolve the issue, being scratchy on right-upward strokes. So, in a moment of frustration and a resolution to send it for repair if I failed, I bent the offending tine back as far as I could and quickly released it.

Hey presto, that smoothness is back. Perhaps it’s not as smooth as it once was but to me it feels as good as new.

Phew.
