My phone has been acting up, switching on and off on its own volition. I have booted to safe mode, removed and reinstalled apps, the behaviour continued.
Today it ramped up, switching off almost every time I picked the damn thing up before finally dying. Nothing. Totally dead. That is until I plugged it in; it entered a a boot loop, the google name appears and then goes off, then repeats. Frustrating.
So a search brought me to this page on reddit. Other users complained of a similar issue with a proposed fix to bang the phone on the same side as the power button. A firm bang on my knee and hey presto, it works!
